Jenny Davis

My name is Jenny Davis, I am the Executive Director of Arts Uplift CIC. Arts Uplift uses the power of the creative arts to improve physical and mental well-being within communities, with a particular focus on adults. Supporting the overextended NHS/community support services in tackling the escalating mental and physical health crisis within Coventry and Warwickshire and beyond, Arts Uplift contributes to primary care solutions via a socially prescribed model of creative activity, encouraging health prevention across organisations, communities & individuals as well as supporting recovery. 

Specialising in arts, health and heritage, Arts Uplift’s projects document people’s living memories through high quality arts & reminiscence activities and performances harnessing the power of arts to maximise well-being, while providing insight into local heritage & preservation.

Areas of work include: Older people (Ageing Well), Adults living with dementia (Navigating Margaret ) Adults on probation (Create to Motivate), Adults with general mental/physical health conditions (Inside Stories), Intergenerational work (Bridging The Gap), Adult training-arts/health (Get Inspired).
